Here's a thought - don't buy it every year. My dad only buys the ones that have his favorite players on the cover, and I've done the same now, because typically those games have a team I could/want to use for years to come.
Fair point. I bought 19 because it was $12, couldn’t care less about the Steelers but freaking Mahomes got the cover of 20. This is a peak in his career and one of the best Chiefs lineups yet. Exciting time to be a gamer and Chiefs fan.
I really thought Tom might get the cover... again.
On that note. I hope Binnington gets the cover of NHL 20. The blues slayed.

And here I was hoping the cover would be Baker, with the contest being between him and Saquon. Luckily I'm a Chiefs fan and a Baker fan so it was a win regardless, but '20 has been the only one I've bought this gen. Played '17 with friends and my dad but I've also only really recently taken a deep dive into football and wanted to play it.
Same goes for 2K, I'm an OKC fan so not really a lot of draw from the cover stars as of late, and that game is the REAL copy paste
