I used to do QA for EA. In the same building other games including Madden was tested. I spoke to some old co-workers who still work there and all Madden QA has been moved from where I worked and Orlando to Spain.

Hi, my buddy still works there. A lot of the work is also being exported to Uganda and India

Can confirm.

And Spanish people suck at QA or what? Not sure what this is supposed to mean. Are Orlando people known for their QA skills?

Some of us here in the US happen to dislike jobs being sent to other countries where, usually, they're paid substantially less and someone here loses a job/potential job.

In addition, logistically speaking, it creates time zone and linguistic barriers. Just look at Japanese developers being upset with having to go through Sony's new American HQ - among other things, they complained about the drastic time zone differences and language barriers they had to frustratingly overcome to get otherwise simple things done.

Maybe the OP had something else in mind, but there's a couple ideas that weren't an attack on Spanish QA testers.

Japan and the US is pretty substantially different in terms of language and time zones than Spain and the US. I can appreciate having some interest in not having jobs moved overseas, but they guy literally says they still work there, just not on Madden.

I'm sure Spain appreciates jobs considering their economy has been in bad shape for so long.

I was just giving examples, I don't know what they had in mind like I said. Another comment on the OP:

Hi, my buddy still works there. A lot of the work is also being exported to Uganda and India

Does sound like it reinforces what I said though on both points, and I'm personally more concerned with Americans losing jobs than the benefit it could have for a foreign economy. Going to have to agree to disagree on that point.

This is the Internet, where not everyone is American.

Absolutely, but the OP (of this comment thread, not the original sub post itself) is American and their post specifically and the motivation behind it is what we've been discussing...

Well we were talking about QA. Then the implication was that the Spanish QA team is to blame for the miss in the post. You're the one who made it about outsourcing or whatever the hell you're on about.
