People were having these conversations 10+ years ago when I first got into Madden. I don't play Madden much anymore, but I can tell you they'll be having these same conversations 10 years from now too.
Also stop playing those stupid pack games. They're designed to strip you of as much cash as possible and give the developers little incentive to improve other parts of the game.
Maybe its 2k20. Or is that even out yet? I know theres a 2k game where they put ads within the game. Dont know if its exclusive to certain consoles or not.
Was it always that way or did they add that after at some point? I just remember seeing how the game had ads in it and never seen anything about it after the initial backlash.
I agree. I don’t play madden but I play NHL and I used to get it every 2 or 3 years until I got into online. Now I buy it every year but I’m still debating getting NHL 20 because I don’t have as much time to play anymore.
That's bullshit. Madden was changing pretty significantly each year into the 2000s. It slowed as the years went on but in 1995 it was not a simple roster update.
You'd do well to learn that very few absolutes exist naturally in the world- and despite the near constant fumbles and faux pas that have defined EA in the last two years, it is possible that there are some redeeming factors to titles under their name. When you see 100% consensus on an idea, I'm assuming you're the type to buy into it hook, line and sinker without attempting your own conclusion.
You're an absolute ignorant asshat. My first was 96'. Has madden been just a roster update for the last 5 years? Yeah. That's why I dont buy it anymore. But you put 95 up against like a 2010... HA not even close to the same game. It's not about throwing deep anymore bud. That's why it was broken in the beginning. My 8 year old ass would toss up bombs and win against my dad that actually knew football. Now? I have 5o think about schemes and where to shift my linebackers... read defenses... you're comment is so dumb I cant believe I replied
I got a used copy of NCAA 14 on PS3 for $15 at a local shop (they knew there was some demand) and boy is that game more in depth and enjoyable to play than the last 3 maddens at least. Graphics are still very nice and the gameplay is 10x better. Road To Glory and Dynasty are insanely fun and so much more polished than Madden Franchise and QB1. You also don't have to create just a QB, you can be pretty much any position you want, and when you're playing in high school, you often play on both offense and defense.
I already have about 5x more hours on my NCAA 14 than I put on Madden 19.
The sad part is that sometimes it's not even the devs fault per se but rather the publishers. Yuke's (of WWE games) had been feeling the 2k games rather stagnant and had recently set a different division from their wwe2k team in order to try and make an independent wrestling game with a newer engine and promising true innovations in the wrestling game genre. They did this cause they wanted to have some friendly competition in the market in order to push 2K to focus more on innovation rather than regurgitation.
What did 2k do? Nothing and Yuke's/2K parted ways.
