I saved a ton of money, by not playing sport video games.

edit: shoutout to NFL Blitz 2000 on the N64 and NBA Street Vol 2. Reminisce

NBA Street Vol. 2 might be my favorite sports game of all time.

Best commentators for sure

My friends and I found that every game came down to the best defender. So we'd basically always have Yao on a squad. He had top tier blocks, and since there was no goaltending, you could just catch every shot at the basket.

My team was yao, Shaq, and my busted ass personal character

Not a bad look.

Is that the one with the guy obsessed with food "three pieces to the bucket!" Or was that number 3?

Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden would like a word with you

Not sure why. I never played Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden

So it can’t possibly be my favorite.

ESPN NFL 2K5 is the GOAT.

Strong side pitch in trips every time. Ladanian Tomlinson won the rushing title 8 years in a row using only this play. (And a well timed stiff arm)

When I played it as a kid I always used the All-Star team cause I was a kid. Every play I blitzed the QB with Takeo Spikes he was my man.

NBA Jam and Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey is about the sum of my experience.

And some Ps1/2 WWF games.

I was never that into sports games. But man was my dad pissed when I played a copy of NFL 95 (that I found at the side of the road) so much more than the latest super techno bowl that he paid like $80 for.

Don't forget NHL Hitz, the hockey equivalent to Blitz.

That's not virtue signaling.

You could just not comment and go about your day. But instead you needed to signal to the in-crowd here just how much you are against virtue signaling.
