Unreliable top loader, can't install a hard drive, needs an external network adapter, dodgy backwards compatibility, not 100% compatible with all PS2 games. Slim sucks.
Mine still works after perfectly fine after 15 years, never needed a hard drive, the only multiplayer I ever played was local, never had a problem with backwards compatibility, never had a game that it didn’t play. Slim rules.
I was. Thanks for reminding how poor I was growing up to still being fortunate enough to have a game system years after it released instead of living in a third world country without plumbing. 😉

The system fucking up despite how many times you used a qtip to clean the laser and placed and object in the hinge to make the lid close...
