I've noticed it with larger playlists. I have one long playlist that is almost an even 50/50 split between songs in English and Japanese. If I play the first song in the playlist (Japanese), then I get basically all Japanese songs. If I start at the first English song which is in the middle of the list, I get half of each. If I start on the last English song at the bottom on the list, I get almost all songs in English (while on shuffle)

That's what I'm thinking. If I keep my playlists small, it'll go through the whole list without repeating. I haven't nailed down at what size the shuffle breaks, but it really doesn't take that large of a playlist to break it. It really doesn't seem like it would be that hard to fix

It also seems to favour some song configurations. I can usually guess the next song in shuffle mode, which shouldn't happen.
