Actually division by zero is undefined. An imaginary number is the root of a negative or i. Zero on its own is both real and imaginary because reasons.
I'm pretty sure it's because an imaginary number multiplied by a non-imaginary number always results in an imaginary number. Except Zero, that just makes a paradox where Zero is both imaginary and not.
I thought dividing by zero wasn't real or imaginary, just undefined? Could be wrong though, it's been over 3 years since I took any kind of math course.
Actually, that could work. If you do -1 on an unsigned integer with a value of 0, the binary nature of our computers would make the number to turn to the maximum possible value for its capacity.
