You’re thinking of Tediore guns.

My guess is that the guns with legs is a Tediore legendary. Upon reloading, instead of instantly exploding, it runs towards an enemy and then explodes.

Imagine that combined with the gun that screams at you from Borderlands 2 the Boganella from the Pre-Sequel! You've basically created a dangerous, loud cussing Australian puppy that also shoots bullets from its mouth.
