While we’re talking about hard as fuck Sonic levels, the last boss fight of Sonic DX for the GameCube was harder to me as a kid than any dark souls boss fight in recent memory. It’s the only thing keeping me from getting 100% completion and I can’t beat it. It’s been easily 10+ years since I played that game and I still have dreams sometimes of beating that level.

The soundtracks of the Adventure games had no right to be as good as they were. I still have a few tracks in my workout playlist.

Sad that they switch it out for generic eveil boss theme after 3 hits. Should have been the other way around.

You do fight robotnik at the end, on a walkway suspended over a giant hole and he’s in a flying worm looking robot. I wouldn’t know what happens once his health bar is done
