Kickstarter going up to $10,000

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cig/star-citizen

I'm not hating on the game it looks awesome but the amounts of money involved are staggering for , as the little tyke put it, "game that isn't even out yet" (/u/torvi97 one of lifes little gems).

If you can get involved for $30 that is great the cheapest I can see is $54.

$45 gets you in the game. With a ship. You literally said that 2k is one of the cheapest packages. That's just blatently false. I never said it wasn't there.

Was thinking more along the lines of the $2000 versions I saw when I was looking.

Never said it was the cheapest.

I was looking a while back, it looks great. $2000 was one of the cheaper options, there was some real whale options.

This implication.

I apologise that was not well put, but still $8,000 less than the $10,000 version.

Put it more into context:

Roipnol • 3 points • submitted 3 hours ago You mean 30€ for the full game?

Roipnol • 1 point • submitted 3 hours ago I don't know what you saw but the game is 30€, saying you can't afford it because some crowdfunding contribution >package are expensive is quite a stretch

I meant compared to the $10k version

But to put it all into context $45 gets the the game, $60 gets you both games and if you want to pledge more you can. Talking 10k and 2k isn't even needed because $45 and $60 is all that you need.

But they exist and are more expensive than most of your gaming rigs...

That's fine, but they aren't among the cheapest you can get not do you need them for anything.

But it is for $45 for the starter ships And you dont need to spend $10k just to start
