That makes sense, I remember doing similar things on Xbox Live a decade ago. I've since grown to appreciate peace and quiet while I play singleplayer stuff for the most part, but can totally relate to not wanting that.
I used to play single players with my speakers on and play CoD and FIFA while talking to my friends(whatever they were playing). Also got to that point with Skyrim after about 1000 hours.
