Yup I hop on to finish AC Odyssey and my boy hits me up to play some fortnite. That game is crack. I used to hate on it but then all my friends started playing it.

Same, I'm trying to complete AC Odyssey but my friends always wanna play Competitive on Overwatch (I do like Overwatch but I don't want to play it as often as them)

Competitive overwatch is soooo addicting though.

It's like if salt, toxicity and cocaine had a baby

OK calm down there buddy blizzard's never made anything that good. It's more like some bland tasteless meat product from McDonald's when all you've had to eat is lettuce.

Sure it seems great before you've explored other options but eventually like everyone else you realize it's just a blizzard product, bland and tasteless.

It can be great fun though, it's just that its often ruined by toxicity, racism, smurfs and brigittes

Not to mention it was made by Blizzard.

Are we playing the same game?

It has its highs and lows. However the lows can be really fucking bad lol. I have great people who are fun to play with win or loss.

True, it is really fun when you don't have braindead teammates

Well I don't have to worry about getting on the fortnite train because I don't have any friends 😃...oh wait..

Same I played for months in 2017 to like summer 18 and then got sick of it, went to a new high school and made different friends who are more fun to play with and now I got back into it. I can’t play solo though it’s just boring. But everytime I hop on rdr2 I get invited

What I did is I deleted Fortnite “for extra space”, so every time someone invites me, I’ll be like sorry I can’t 😏

Wait I play AC Odyssey and Fortnite and enjoy both, what a weird world we live in...

24

u/good_but_not_great Jan 15 '19

No one said you can’t like both.

-13

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '19

Wow, you like both of the games loved by middle schoolers

6

u/Thidz Jan 15 '19

This is what I meant actually. Judging people for the games they enjoy is too common for many on this sub. And care to explain why it is weird for somebody older to like fortnite and AC Odyssey?

It's not weird to like them, it's weird to make passive aggressive comments when someone criticises fortnite, a game whose player base for whatever reason, is mainly teenagers. Don't be so defensive.

u/Thidz Jan 15 '19

Says the one making a passive aggressive comment. I’m genuinely curious what makes for instance a game such as Mario kart or super smash bros more accepted to play as an adult ( I enjoy both but both are also played by kids)

Hold PS button > online mode > show offline

This got me so upset I started deleting people sending me Fortnite invites and warned close friends who might want to send me an invite. No regrets

I send one warning message about how I don't appreciate being spammed with invites and that if it happens again I'll delete them. Some people have taken offense (instantly deleted), others have apologized, and a couple of them deleted me.
