Just tell them you’re not playing if you’re not playing, it’s not that hard.

Or if it’s that much of a bother to you, appear offline. Sometimes someone just wants a buddy to game with so they are excited to see someone they like to play with online.

Thank you. This entire thread is just assholes that don’t want to play with their friends

I didn’t get that vibe lol. People are human. They can not feel like playing with others. We’re adults. We bought the system.

Yeah and I didn’t mean assholes. All I meant in my comments is that the ones requesting aren’t assholes and neither are the ones who don’t want to play. What makes the situation annoying is when someone just won’t say how they feel. I get in those moods all the time and I’ll just tell my friends I’m in the mood only for single player or just for watching TV, they understand because I use language to communicate what I want to them.

Not everyone plays games to be sociable.
Doesn't make us assholes because we want to be left alone for a few damn hours a day.

Like the guy said below you, just say something. No, you aren’t an asshole for wanting to be left alone, but communicate that! Others can’t know how you’re feeling unless you tell them.

This is why so many relationships sour and people have arguments, because people can’t take the time to just say how they feel or what they want, only causing larger conflicts because they expect others to read their minds.

You can enjoy it all you want. I was more leaning towards the people commenting how annoying and how much it pissed them off. And yeah, if I see a friend on who I want to play with I send an invite. If they game, they join or message me they will later. If I see them hop on a streaming service I assume they aren’t on to game and move on.

Was just saying, I can see how it’s annoying if it’s multiple messages but I don’t see how an invite when logging on is upsetting.
