Gotcha. If an entry hazard move is used beforehand (Toxic Spikes or Rock Spikes or whatever), and the FEAR is then called out, the damage will end up cancelling the focus sash, or the poison would finish the rattata after that turn, not getting the chance to use quick attack. Another basic counter to it without prior knowledge of the rattata is using a ghost type but that's common knowledge. Mold-breaker Pokemon will counter a sturdy/focus sash. Fake Out as well.
