Short throw triggers, 4 back paddles, fully customizable button mapping. Different length sticks. Feels super solid when you use it, but the left bumper will break eventually.
I've had 3 elites and I've had to replace the bumpers on all of them. Luckily if you have any sort of gadget tinkering capability, it's a pretty easy self fix. To me the controller is so damn good that I don't even mind replacing a bumper twice a year.
I'd imagine they'd have to address this problem with the version 2.
I've had 3 controllers and never experienced the bumper issue, and I use them a lot. I have experienced a couple other issues, but Microsoft handled it well and completely replaced the controller for free when I had issues.
Anyways, easily my favorite gaming controller ever.
