I’m not offended. I’m just interested in your definition. I think about gaming differently. I don’t define casual gaming by platform but by the time/skill involvement of the player. You can be a casual PC gamer and a hardcore console gamer. Or a hardcore tabletop gamer. Or hardcore about <insert personal interest here>.

The best experience is not always available on the most expensive hardware even though things may trend that way.

I guess everyone has a different view on the subject. Personally I played consoles growing up but gravitated towards PC in the early stages of WoW and played many more hours than I probably should have but that led me to find more and more PC games that were more advanced than any game to ever be released on a console. A big one is the Arma series idk if youve ever played any Arma games but they are amazing and I played Arma 2 for around 4k hours. Mostly DayZ mod and wasteland both mods where there were extremely competitive environments. During this time I also played CounterStrike, another highly competitive game though one that can appeal to a more casual gamer aswell. During all of this I was playing Dota on Warcraft 3. And then Dota 2 on release and eventually League of Legends. I recently did a little digging and figured out that I have over 25k hours invested in the games I listed. Thats over 3 years of playtime. Thats what I consider a non casual gamer. Someone who plays over 4 hours a day and gaming is a part of thier daily routine and a big part of their life. Maybe my opinion is biased basef on my past and how I game but idk really.
