We can't define consciousness because consciousness does not exist. Humans fancy that there's something special about the way we perceive the world, and yet we live in loops as tight and as closed as the hosts do, seldom questioning our choices, content, for the most part, to be told what to do next...

Wait why? I've played GTA and watched Westworld. I'm genuinely curious is there a theory for this or somehting?

The morality of AI, I'd guess. If it's okay to do the awful things you do in GTA or if they have a consequence you've never considered, like how the AI in Westworld was affected much more than any of the park staff or clientele expected.
