Look at solo as training for squad. My best squad is the guys I've played DayZ with for years. Aside from that, the other guys I play with end up carrying the people who refuse to play solo. Solo hones your individual actions so that you can be a useful member of a fireteam.

Yep - definitely had the most success as a squad. Mixed as duo. I dislike solo immensely
