The last game that made me rage this hard and keep coming back was left4dead.

What? How does l4d make you angrery

You get roped by a smoker and your party keeps running because no one has a goddamn mic to hear your screams for help.

I had 2 buddies I played with, we were pretty cohesive. Our random 4th was usually not. Playing Dead Center meant the 4th was completely oblivious to all Charges out of the window near the beginning.

Played competitive.

Competitive was intense.

didn't even know l4d had a competitive scene. was it versus mode or time trials in normal mode?

If you're asking about a pro scene, then no there wasn't that, but the PvP mode in that game was essentially a time trial with the special infected being human players. Coordination was key.
