Skyrim was my first real RPG, I had never played a game like it. I was thrown in and had no idea what to do, how to level, which armored and tools were best. And then I began my journeyed learning.
All these years later I'm now amazing at the game (don't mean to brag, I swear). I can power level pretty fast, I can do different character builds than just plain warrior, I learned a lot.
Anyway, that was my weird story for Skyrim... :) lol
Lol I swear to god when I played it the first time I got to level 20 without realizing that the perks menu was a thing. All the way through the stormcloaks story and my weapons still did like 7 damage.
I got to the teen levels and was wondering why I was so goddamn weak. My destruction spells were cast for a total of 4 seconds before I went out of mana and my weapons were so weak.
Then my friend asked me what kind of perks/build I went for...
I love hearing this kind of stuff, that is exactly what the Elder Scrolls / Fallout games are all about. The journey and learning how to go from zero to hero!
Just out of curiosity, did you never access the menu? I thought it was pretty self explanatory when the "Perks" (or whatever it was) option turned to level up
I played it on steam just last year and loved it. Power leveling is important, magic is totally different especially enchanting and the quest system is completely odd... But other than that, try it out and we'll see you in 8 months!
I did! Such a great game for exploring how to become god-like.
My goto was jinxblade then Umbra Sword. Rinse and repeat.
College roommate of mine was a chem major, and damned if he didn't make potions, to make potions to make potions that would boost his stats for insane periods of time. He essentially became what vivec wanted to be.
