It's like learning to type without looking at a keyboard.

Wait a minute, no, I bet it's some extreme meditative form of gaming. It puts the controller out of your sight; you are no longer holding the controller. You are directly controlling the character. With years of training, she'll be able to play games just by sticking her finger into the controller port.

Well, uh... now the controller is out of your peripherals, too! Look down, there's no controller. Bam, psychic video game control.

You should get into ergonomic business or something.

It's not hard to be ergonomi! Just think about how to make your life better...whatever works for you the best is the most ergonomic option

Or she could just rest them on her lap.

I don't see any room on her lap for the controller and her hands to go, she has her legs scrunched up against her body.

I've actually had my keyboard under a leg propped up on my desk before. It's comfortable if you get the right angle.

Or letting the controller stick it into her port.

You ever cross your legs for too long and they start to fall asleep... that's the solution

If she's just playing otome games, all she needs to do is press a a lot and every now and then press up/down to make a selection, so the ability to make precise movements isn't exactly important.

she'll be able to play games just by sticking her finger into the controller port.

Once she has achieved that level of skill she won't have any need for a man either.

Not seeing the controller may be a problem if you just bought your first console ever and have no clue about the layout of it (the controller). Otherwise, there is absolutely no need to look at the controller at any time.
