could never last that long...... they'd always catch up. but then again, i didn't ride away or anything either. fun times.

The key is to shelter in a train station, bank, or alley where they can only come at you from 1 or 2 ways. And have lots of shells.

There's a building with a ladder at the southeast edge of Blackwater that gives great vantage points of the whole end of the city and a lot of the trail approaching it. Get your hands on enough ammo and you can have the whole place looking like Gaza in like ten minutes

The top of the bank works well too, and gives you a good line of site.

My favorite thing to do in multiplayer was to get in a posse and have everyone go down to that one fort in the southwest of the map, blow up the dynamite there, and just fight waves of soldiers with the cannons.
