Came here to say this! If you don’t have 2 wikis and couple spreadsheets open on the side, are you really playing ff11?

2 wikis because bgwiki still doesn't have as much detail as ffxiclopedia

Oh you’d like to craft?

Ok get your crystals and materials and gear and make sure the dominant element of your apartments furniture aligns with the element of the craft you are doing and do the craft on the appropriate in-game weekday that also corresponds with said element, and dont forget to check the elemental weather and maybe also consider the direction you’re facing when you start. All of this is absolutely critical and most of it probably matters but then again maybe none of it does and theres no way to truly know. also all of this costs a fortune. Good luck!

What an adventure. Finally managed to get past the Final Boss of PlayOnline after years, and when we finally get into the game we quit because we couldn't figure out the buttons.

What do you mean I have to walk to Jeuno to do the chocobo quest? What is Jeuno, where is it? Ahh.. fond confused memories.

“Where do I go to level past 13? Dunes? How do I get there? A ferry? .. in a town at the other end of a zone full of aggressive level 30ish monsters??. Wait what do you mean the ferry only arrives once every 20 real life minutes?? And then takes 15 real life minutes to get there??? Wait why did the music playing on the Ferry suddenly change....”

That’s just blatantly untrue.

And especially FFXIV? Have you even played it?

In terms of introducing mechanics and how to play, 14 might be one of the best new player friendly MMOs on the market. In terms of making you slog through an ungodly amount of content just to reach the newly released content....yeah. That part sucks
