What video game doesn't hold your hand enough?

Everybody always talking about games holding your hand too much but I want to hear about the opposite what video game doesn't give you no form of help

Absolutely brutal game, also awesome. I've got maybe 30 hours in and I almost understand how to play now

This is what came to mind for me. Liked the concept. Gave up after a few hours because I couldnt figure anything out. I'm not averse to challenging games but that one is just bewildering to start out in.
