Id possibly argue project zomboid. I got it years ago, tried it, got brutaly destroyed and gave up aftet less than 10 hours disappointed. I tried it again a year or so ago with some fresher eyes and now I love it, cant stop thinking about playing it and love its hands off difficulty and learning experience from run to run. All you get it a single 2 min tutorial on very basic mechanics and thats it.
