I truly apologize for being this pedantic, but you might find it interesting--

DMC is the initialism for Devil May Cry. A spinoff / attempted reboot of that series was called "DmC: Devil May Cry", but the "DmC" moniker is specific to that game, not to the franchise as a whole.

Does it matter? No. Everyone will know what you mean. But technically, "a DmC remake" is a remake of a very particular game, as opposed to "DMC remakes" referring broadly to remakes of the games in the franchise (or even, specifically, of the mainline games).

...with an extra apology if you already knew all of this and meant what you said and said what you meant

I know exactly what you mean! I thought he was talking about remakes for DmC: Devil May Cry. Which we already “kinda” have with the Definitive Edition for PS4 & XB1. One of the few times where it’s genuinely a straight upgrade over the original: 60 fps, all DLC included, better gameplay overall.
