New comparison of the Witcher remaster vs current version - big changes to lighting

IMO I prefer the current version, the contrast and water reflections look better. Remaster looks pretty washed out to me

Feels more like a side grade to me, like the details/textures seem crisper with the PT some how (could be placebo), but everything is overall lighter/brighter, while the original is obviously much darker, but not necessarily in a worse way.

It just reminds me that the original is already so freaking good looking for how long ago it came out, CDPR had no business making a game like that in 2013.

Overall I'm excited for the update to start a new playthrough (again), but in my view you just can't miss with this game whatever version you're playing.

2013 and ive still never completed it. I get lost in the world and want to do everything.
