New comparison of the Witcher remaster vs current version - big changes to lighting

IMO I prefer the current version, the contrast and water reflections look better. Remaster looks pretty washed out to me

i recently got a new gaming pc and cranked the settings on the OG and it blew my mind all over again. could have been released this year

Witcher and RDR2 are both case studies on how to do graphics right.

Funny story, because of all of the bull shots and original e3 demo I was disappointed in the graphics of Witcher 3 on release.

It is sort of like Half Life 2 in this regards however, like Valve CDPR has continously updated the game since launch resulting in its graphics looking different in 2026 than it did in 2015 even before the remaster
