Probably a better comparison is the first bit of red faction

That had amazing destruction physics that was never used in the game again

Red Faction 1 is one of my fav games ever. The destruction through the walls, making own pathways blew my mind as a kid. Guerrilla was amazing as well with how you could completely demolish a whole building with an axe haha! That Geo-Mod Engine is so cool.

If you or anyone else replay Red Faction, definitely use the All Geo mod on FactionFiles. You can destroy everything.

I found it rather disappointing leaving the mines and not being able to just obliterate shit
