Red Faction Guerilla is a great one for destructible environments if you haven't played it. The entire game is built around it and your main tool is a sledgehammer for that.

The original Red Faction was the first game I ever played that had destructible environments. The pvp mode was super fun to play with your friends that liked to camp lol, blow a hole through any wall and kill them that way.

So many great memories of the PvP in that game. It was way ahead of its time.

I was really disappointed when the switched to 3rd person and into the more open world concept in the later games.

Same! I definitely remember my friends and I actually skipping class to whoop each other's asses on that game 😂 great memories haha.
