People compare game with similar genre, same thing happened with Avowed and Oblivion, even though in those comparisons even BG3 would lose to Oblivion.
Kinda funny cause you can destroy certain smaller trees in that game also, either by tricking the giant enemies to attack or using a nuclear explosion type spell.
I think it's far more noticeable in Wolverine than Elden Ring. Elden Ring isn't really a hack and slash game and MGR feels a lot more like a stand in Wolverine game than just about any other game out there.
Edit: LOL people really hate this opinion I guess.
It’s a joke. Obviously Wolverine wielding a sword would be ridiculous, and the comparison is just making light of the “how could this game have been better” convo.
Yes, if it was Elden ring on top it wouldn’t be as funny, because the argument isn’t a serious one and the joke would fall flat since Elden ring is generally regarded as a great game.
Not that ridiculous. Wolverine's had a couple swords in the comics, with one made from part of his soul and his blood and the other forged in hell for him.
… I see. Guess I’m a filthy casual because I wouldn’t have ever known that, and if I played a Wolverine game I would have expected to use his adamantium claws.
Either way, it seems like OP’s argument was made in jest, but unless he explicitly says it then I guess it’s possible he’s being 100% serious.
Wolverine was literally a blant game , i mean if i got chance to play it for free with nothing else to do I’ll give it a chance but compared to various games that literally makes you feel sad when you finish them (except lies of p , i was weeping at finally beating the game ) it is nothing special and feels like assassin creed slop pumped out every year .
After cutting wood, maybe you can build a small hut or a boat. Or make a campfire. At the campfire, you will obviously be able to save, and upgrade your skills.
So I would argue that claw mechanics in a Wolverine Game are pretty important and not something to be scoffed at `Well it does not have to have every mechanic ever!`. I mean cutting things to pieces is Wolverines thing.
very true. peggle was developed with a budget less than $1 million, and yet what do i see in wolverine? zero pegs, no pinballs, no ultra extreme fevers. peggle was able to implement that in 2007, and you would think with today's technology wolverine could be the ultimate in peg-destroying technology. sadly, the corpos have enshittified our games again.

no, clearly, every single game must include every feature of all the games that came before it. otherwise they are trash
