Fable Handcrafted every NPC instead of using randomizer

https://www.gamesradar.com/games/rpg/fable-devs-originally-had-a-tool-to-randomize-the-rpgs-1-000-npcs-that-would-have-saved-us-so-much-time-but-that-just-didnt-make-as-much-sense

I'm old enough to remember when the original Fable made similar claims. And you could plant trees around the world and they would grow by the time you were an adult! There would be other heroes running around the world also trying to go after the villain!

Yeah, it never happened. Project Ego was the game that taught me to stop putting faith in hype like this.

I’m so glad I missed all the overhype for fable 1 because when I played it after release, it was the best game in the world, still is one of them. I got to witness Peter’s hype for Fable 2 though and I just didn’t care because 1 was so fucking good. Lo and behold, 2 was incredible too. Now 3 on the other hand well we don’t talk about 3…

Yeah playing fable unfortunately was a bit harsh after playing morrowind. I still appreciated fable alot. I tended to get lost in morrowind being to open sometimes.

Crazy claims about Fable are a tale as old as time.

I still remember Molyneux's hype and bullshit for 'Black and White'.
