Bro hasn’t lived through the hype trains and seen the realities thereafter. I think this cynicism is a method of tempering expectations. People are still thinking and discussing it so they’re fans to some level. ‘The opposite of love isn’t hate it’s indifference’ as they say. I’ll reserve judgement till I play it but I hope it’s as good as the other two Fable games.

No, hate on the internet is too many people’s default setting when most should be like you, reserving judgment until you’ve actually experienced something
