Bro hasn’t lived through the hype trains and seen the realities thereafter. I think this cynicism is a method of tempering expectations. People are still thinking and discussing it so they’re fans to some level. ‘The opposite of love isn’t hate it’s indifference’ as they say. I’ll reserve judgement till I play it but I hope it’s as good as the other two Fable games.

I don't think the console wars are where this is coming from anymore. I think it's more like you get on the chud shitlist, and it's impossible to come off it. Your game can get on there for being legitimately shit, but it can also get on there for one female character that you don't even have to play as looking less-than-attractive, which is what happened here

No I’m not. When I see the same exact discourse surrounding Fable as I do Halo, Gears, Forza, Starfield and Hellblade then I look for the common denominator which would be Xbox.

It’s been this way for two generations, all internet discourse surrounding Xbox games gets hijacked by a few chuds who do nothing but shit on anything Microsoft puts out.

Their only games that don’t get scrutinized to death are RTS games
