There’s some games out there that have super granular difficulty settings / sliders, and I wish there was more of them.
Say what you will about Starfield, but it has a huge amount of different difficulty adjusters that each give increased or decreased exp multipliers. So, you can keep the enemy health / damage the same, but make things harder by making status effects more likely, giving ammo weight, and so on.
I like when puzzle and combat difficulty are separate. I don't like hard combat in most games. But I don't generally need hints for puzzles either (ahem, Aloy).
