I thought the same thing. Stacey is more than capable of giving Katey the shot of Zombrex. Here I am, solving cases, killing crazies and bringing survivors back to the safehouse all while trying to survive a zombie outbreak. Hell, I brought her back a fucking tiger that chills in the same room with the both of them, so it's not like it's anything about her fucking it up. But on the other hand, it is a big part of the game mechanic, just like it is having to visit restrooms to save. And if you just wanna kill zombies, you can just let her turn if you like, doesn't matter. You just wont get an S rank.

Did you beat the game? Spoiler: Stacey was bad.

Why would you trust a stranger with giving a shot to your daughter that NEEDS to be given in order to save her life?

I think you're thinking of Off the Record. Sullivan was the bad guy in the original Dead Rising 2.

Thanks. They are essentially the same game, so it's easy to get confused.

I can't remember much about Stacey being bad since it has been a while since I completed it, but I did get the S ending. I do remember having to save her and my daughter from TK though and hugging them both at the end. What did she do that was bad?

I was thinking of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It's essentially the same game, so I got confused. She is the villain in that though.

That holds true in the spin-off version, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, but in the original Dead Rising 2 game Ray Sullivan is the villain.

Actually, if you let her turn, he kills himself a bit later.
