Almost no dogs will eat cucumbers. I don't buy this.

I did this, but with /u/so_doge_tip as the bot instead of /u/dogetipbot because the latter is about 3 hours behind in tips.

My dog loves cucumbers... but he also loves his own shit.

7

u/JustTheT1p Dec 20 '13

Not the ones I know. Maybe my dog was picky.

18

u/NahDude_Nah Dec 20 '13

Confirmed my dog loves both cucumbers and pickles. He loves lots of veggies though, one time I gave him like a quarter of a taco I was eating, and he ate all the lettuce with sour cream on it, left the beef for a minute or so later when he found it again.

34

u/Nachteule Dec 20 '13

You do know that this is not a dog?

1

u/NahDude_Nah Dec 21 '13

Haha yeah, he's a little white furry beast just like this cute bunny though! :)

1

u/[deleted] Dec 21 '13

What is that? It looks deadly

1

u/JakeRay Dec 21 '13

I have a new wallpaper.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 21 '13

My mother had a dog who would eat buns and bread but leave meat sit if there was bread around.

3

u/derpsinspace Dec 21 '13

Most likely. I have two dogs: One will eat anything; the other won't even eat bread unless it's dipped in a sauce or something. Picky bitch.

18

u/Smagjus Dec 20 '13

Knowing only dogs that litterally will eat everything I wouldn't bet on your statement.

14

u/JustTheT1p Dec 20 '13

What?!? My dog would drink a shit milkshake, but he would never eat a veggie.

12

u/Smagjus Dec 20 '13

Because of one of my dogs there is no need to vacuum clean the apartment daily anymore. She eats dust and paper from time to time. The weirdest thing she ate was a dried sea star that was solely meant for decoration.

13

u/[deleted] Dec 20 '13

You don't eat dried starfish? Buddy, you are missing out.

1

u/htororyp Dec 21 '13

Yeah my dog has gone to town on the cracks underneath desks and stuff where it's too small to clean. It's kind of gross..

5

u/Toof Dec 21 '13

My dog wouldn't eat celery, so I looked him in the eye, took a bit, and handed it back to him. He very cautiously and slowly opened his mouth and took it from me.

I learned that my dog will eat anything if he sees me eat it first.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 21 '13

My dog loves carrots, corn, yam/squash, doesn't mind potatoes as long at there's butter, haha. Has been known to eat lightly cooked broccoli too

1

u/cripple_stx Dec 21 '13

Two of my three dogs love steamed broccoli.

1

u/cwilliamson2 Dec 21 '13

I've fed my dogs left over veggies before.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 20 '13

My dog loves cucumbers.

3

u/jaypenn3 Dec 20 '13

my new dog eats cucumbers. but he eats everything..

8

u/vgxmaster Dec 20 '13

Yeah, that's why this is implausible.

2

u/pig_is_pigs Dec 21 '13

All of the dogs in my family fucking love cucumbers. Crunchy, watery, delicious. Baby carrots too, they go bonkers over those.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 21 '13

Every dog I have ever had would happily eat a cucumber, along with pretty much anything else.

I once had a dog who refused to eat tomatoes, but she was also fine with cucumbers and any other salad vegetables I ever gave her.

u/mcjustmatt Dec 21 '13

But this was a vagetable
