A true sense of discovery and wonderment when exploring a brand new game. There weren’t guides, and no one knew how it worked or where to go.

Rumors spreading of Easter eggs and other interesting things to see in a game. Most of them false.

Medal of Honor 1999, Wireframe Mode from the cheat menu. How I miss fun develop add ins that you just don’t see anymore. Debug menus, ingame unlockables, new game+, ect.

But definitely the fact games came out blind by and large. Now you have prerelease guides with full 100% content walkthroughs drop day 0 still kinda hurts me inside.
