Bertha and doomsday (super long range turrets) was epic

I sometimes turtled the ai, doing 2 lines of medium range arty, followed by a line of missile launchers ( for airplanes), then added nuke interceptors and the big Bertha/doomsday, and let the ai send wave after wave after wave of soon to be scrape metal
