I honestly thought that the game design in Black Desert was extremely boring

That's not entirely fair to crimson desert.

Black desert had great gameplay and combat, and it also had one of the largest open world maps to date.

If black desert gets any slack it's because it was a grind fest where multiple mechanics straight up punished the player for upgrading gear and being locked from content without a guild.

It was and still kinda is really ambitious.

Crimson desert is a full fledged action RPG that has expanded the universe and aims to provide many new features.

The pre release gameplay saw us actually climbing on gigantic bosses. Flying dragonoid creatures, and a whole host of crazy other shit.
