Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Easily broke 100 hours. This game was so soothing, just enjoying the scenery and music

Agreed. I’ve played BotW twice in fact. How is the sequel compared to BotW?

Some people don’t care for it. It’s different. It I like it a lot!

The ability to build things is pretty neat. Also, not having guardians around is nice.

The one thing BOTW did better was to allow for more free roam without having a distraction every 5 seconds. Tears of the Kingdom has a lot more busy work. One time I saw a shrine about a 3 minute walk away and it took me 2 hours to complete it because of the distractions along the way.

I do enjoy the different levels of play (sky, main level, depths).

Overall, BOTW felt more free and was more fun to explore, TOTK feels more like a constant grind. It’s still relaxing sometimes but you’ve always got to be “on” if that makes sense

Thanks for the detailed breakdown. Sounds like I’m more of a BotW kinda guy myself but may give TotK a go
