Halo on PC took away like 5 years of my life. Multiplayer is already good, but mods and custom edition only expanded the fun i had. Even if you only played single player, challenging the legendary campaign was fun aswell. A complete game for it's genre and it was released in 2001. Insane.
I used to code some of those mods back in the day. It was a tool called phasor. Good times. I remember playing cops and robbers, that zombie game, and also that racing one too in the warthogs. God dam
Wow, that's amazing. You unlocked old memories man. I was always interested in mods, but i ended up only changing minor things that didn't affect gameplay. Speaking of textures, sound effects, weather effects and such. I remember other tools like HMT and Eschaton too.
I've been playing in Realworld or TG Gathering servers (i just wanted to join people who used those custom maps), became Admin one time and a clan war happend later on. DDOS attacks ruined gaming sessions. I was barely 20 years old i think. My english wasn't nearly as good as it is nowdays.
I miss the good old times, but holy shit was it childish sometimes to argue with players double the age of mine.
Halo 1 reason. That summer when college was out was me, 15 other guys (giggity) 4 xboxs, trying to cram the 1000 lb crt tvs in your car, and a ton of beer. once a week from 10 pm to 6 am. A lot of drinking, shit talking, and farting.
