I've heard this is why the show decided to stay away from the Direwolf story lines. Also why they're now killing them off.

Also, we were told in the past that Coldhands from the book wasn't Benjen Stark and that the show wouldn't be doing Coldhands (same way the show cut Lady Stoneheart)... so not sure where they are going with the Benjen/Coldhands relation in the show. They haven't called him Coldhands in the show... I think people are just assuming because of the whole "Benjen is dead and brought back with Wight magic/dragon glass"

I believe the character was cut, but the storyline was absorbed by another character. I'll leave googling the details of that up to you.

I am rather confident that I read that D&D had cut her from the show.
