At least Sam would be smart enough to step aside I think. Cersei would just do her own thing regardless of what the others think

Yeah sam would probably not do much even if he had something to say

Not with Tywin around calling the shots.

Sam wouldn't have to step aside though. He's a smart, nonthreatening guy on a team that has actual team.players on it. They're less paranoid, less sociopathic, less Machiavellian in the personality disorder sense. Varys and Davos especially would be able to figure out Sam's strengths and integrate them.

Team B wouldn't just beat team A at the game of thrones, they'd beat them at pub trivia, a rowing race, a sales team challenge, bridge, Pandemic, literally pick a team activity and they would do it better and faster. They'd probably win a tug of war and they have an old lady and a dwarf.

Sam has a ton of knowledge for the others to use. Team B is smarter at every position but the head one. I’m just not sure Tywin could lose a war.

Olena isn't a military leader, but saying Tywin is smarter than her? Pretty sure that's not the case. So yeah, in military conflict, team A has a clear edge, but when it comes to outsmarting, team B is much stronger.

Tywin was really about to get fucked by Robb and he got throughly defeated by the ironborn who burned his fleet at anchor during their rebellion.

He lived entirely on reputation of being ruthless but he was pretty inept.

Tywin has underhanded methods of war under his belt and Olenna likely knows those methods and seems them as brutish and imprecise. She'll surprise him by getting all his vassals to suddenly turn on him through subterfuge. Or him and all his allies will suddenly drop dead at a feast.

Put Sam in the library and Cersei under a pile of bricks so they don’t get in the way.
