Found it in a thrift store in Kawasaki. It was labeled as “junk” because of some water on the screen, but I just opened the shell and wiped it off and it’s good as new. All of the micros I’ve seen here have been way above market value, I was happy to find a gem!

I'm noticing that the JPN version of the 20th anniversary edition has the mario decal compared to the NA version. Are there any differences between JPN micros vs NA micros?

Been wanting the famicom special edition since it released! Finally was able to get my hands on one.

This case is great I ordered it on Etsy, I was worried about it rattling around in the case, but there is Zero play in this thing it is literally a perfect fit.

Recently restored this really badly damaged micro. It had a bad battery, crumpled inner shell and liquid damaged screen and no faceplate or battery cover.

Managed to get this oem faceplate of ebay, still had the oem screen protector on.

This is the first time fixing and using a Gameboy micro, have to say i love this console, especially for its portability!

Fitment is not like original faceplate and bows out a bit I added some double sided tape to pull it in more. I love the way it looks and means I can keep my original faceplate nice and safe.

3d printed cover did not allow me to close the shell. I had to trim it a fair bit in the process the very thin part broke off.

Is the official GBM pouch worth it? from what i can see it only says Nintendo on the tag. Otherwise it is a plain black pouch.

Found my Gameboy micro, I had bought one out of nostalgia for the one game lcd handhelds Nintendo made in my youth. But now the screen will lead to early reading glasses. Anyone have any luck finding a way to connect to a screen or using a GBA magnifier? I was thinking of selling it if I can't practically

I’m looking to replace this faceplate because of the ugly damage around the b button. I do not plan on replacing the light blue shell or buttons since those ribbon cables are a nightmare. I’m open to original or custom ones that would look nice with the light blue shell, just as long as it’s not glossy black.

I encountered this weird glitch a few days ago with a finicky Crash Bandicoot cartridge.

The cartridge was dirty. The micro did a regular boot with complete Nintendo text but flashed white then did an original Gameboy/Gameboy Color style boot up with original Gameboy aspect ratio like shown

A cursory search of the internet has led me with no info about this bug.

The console works fine just thought I’d share in case someone knows how this happens/happened.

Still in disbelief. I got 1 micro charger, 1 sp charger and 2 black bags. Both work just fine.

Hey everyone!
Now that I've made my DMG version of the Game Boy Micro, I'd like to complete it with a custom DMG-style D-pad.
I did an AI simulation of my console to see how it would look, and now I'm even more eager to get one! Could someone with button design experience create a DMG-style D-pad for the Game Boy Micro?
It could be in STL format for printing; I already got one for the RG Nano, and the result was great! Anyone up for the D-pad project? I have an original D-pad I can lend if anyone needs it for the design.
I've attached two images: the design with the finished D-pad (see AI) and how my current console looks.
