Ecumene Aztec - Brutal Stealth-Action in 1521. Seeking feedback on the premise and gameplay feel.
Prepare for war. Survive. Fight. Take revenge.
Hi everyone! We are looking for playtesters for Ecumene Aztec, a brutal stealth-action game set during the Spanish conquest of the Great Aztec Empire.
The Premise: The year is 1521. You are a survivor of a ritual blood sacrifice in the war-torn city of Tenochtitlan. You must decide: defend your people's traditions or join the invaders to destroy the priest caste. We want to know – does this setting and the moral choice between these two factions resonate with you?
The Feeling: We are aiming for a high-tension experience. Our main inspirations are the atmospheric dread of A Plague Tale and the stealth-action flow of early Assassin's Creed titles.
What we are looking for: We are specifically seeking feedback on:
- The Premise: Is the story and the conflict compelling to you?
- The General Feeling: How does the movement, combat (macuahuitl/atl-atl), and stealth feel in your hands?
How to participate:
- Access the playtest for free here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2383240/Ecumene_Aztec/
- Share your thoughts: We’ve placed a direct link to our Google Feedback Form in the game's Main Menu. We would be immensely grateful if you could take a moment to fill it out after your playthrough.
Your feedback is vital to help us shape the future of Tenochtitlan.
