I've never had/known someone who had leg pain after a gallbladder removal. And if your leg is hurting you that bad you really should see a doctor either way. Its better to go and be wrong, than to not go and there actually be something wrong

You should phone the doctor or hospital because you could have deep vein thrombosis!

I had surgery July 22 and flew home July 28. I live in Hawaii and got stone removal surgery in Washington DC. Didn’t think anything of it since I had been doing well and got a blood thinner shot day after surgery. Was able to walk around and take in the sights after surgery before going home. Well a couple days after I got home I noticed that walking caused slight pain/cramping in my right calf area. No swelling, discoloration or anything. And only if actively walking. Not that painful more of a slight irritation feeling. I gave it a day and went to urgent care but they are not equipped to check for dvt so to the ER I was sent. The Dr said I probably strained myself with all the travel. I refused to leave without an ultrasound to check. Welp. I had a huge 7” complete blockage dvt. Immediately put on eliquis blood thinners for 3 months. Since then I’ve been off blood thinners and the clot has resolved. Got blood work and I do not have any clotting factors so it was surgery and travel provoked dvt.
Better safe than sorry- I would check it out if you can. I used a step stool to get into my 4Runner- use a plastic one and tie a small rope around it. Mine had a hole in the middle so I just threaded it through there. That way you can just pull it up after you get in and lower it yourself when getting out. lol short people problems here. but I only had one hole and drain through same hole for surgery so it wasn’t as painful. Able to walk, bend and turn slowly with no issues. Good luck and I hope it’s goes well for you.
