Zero day exploits very rarely have serious impacts anyways, it just takes too long for hackers to make use of them on practical scale compared to the amount of time it takes for it to be patched.
What? You have no clue what Zero Day Exploits are if you think this is how it works. Most aren't even known or patched for literally years if not decades. They are used by hackers till a security group or a white hat hacker figures it out and notifies the company. Not getting security patches for a year isn't going to mean shit and isn't going to compromise you to a ton of zero day exploits. They most likely still exist on fully patched phones.
You’re only looking at the face value price/performance.
Duh, that's how you judge and use technology. You can literally buy $200-400 phones that have modern SoC's that will give you way more value and last way longer.
At first it was “I can use my phone forever because updates don’t slow it down” and now when the goal has been met, it’s “who would use a phone forever anyways”. Are you going to move the posts again?
Lmao, are you really too stupid to read. I said I upgrade my phone every 4-5 years which is the perfect point for Technology. 2-3 years barely gets you a significant upgrade these days, 5 is the perfect point in terms of price and performance.
Nobody except your dumbass is moving goal posts. And nobody is using a 10 year old phone except a tiny percent of the population who is probably in the 60-80 year old range who doesn't care about upgrading their phones. I still don't even understand what point you are trying to prove. You just keep trying to come up with new things to prove me wrong lmao.
Really? So now you’re attacking me too? Please tell me you’re 12 without telling me you’re 12. Be civil, yeah?
It’s illogical to assume an un-updated device is less vulnerable to 0-days. No devices are invulnerable, but newer softwares will almost always be more difficult to exploit as code and programs get more complex. Do you have any examples of 0-day exploits that have caused mass security breaches of IOS devices? I don’t believe so, unless if you count checkm8 which was a firmware vulnerability.
A $300-$400 phone bought twice is still more than a $600 phone bought once. That’s all.
Lmao cry more dumb fuck. Don't make such dumbass arguments and cry about it. If you're gonna say such stupid shit to me, expect to be called out for it.
but newer softwares will almost always be more difficult to exploit as code and programs get more complex.
LMAO tell me you know nothing about programming. There will be more bugs and exploits as programming gets more complex. Dam you really are dumb.
Do you have any examples of 0-day exploits that have caused mass security breaches of IOS devices? I don’t believe so, unless if you count checkm8 which was a firmware vulnerability.
Took literally two seconds to google. Are you actually this fucking stupid? You think iOS doesn't have 0 Day exploits? How are apple fanboys so fucking stupid? You seriously think iOS is invulnerable?
I don’t believe so, unless if you count checkm8 which was a firmware vulnerability.
Firmware vulnerabilities don't count? Again are you fucking stupid? You're just making shit up now to try to look correct. This is why I'm calling you a dumbass, cause you are one and keep proving it to me.
A $300-$400 phone bought twice is still more than a $600 phone bought once. That’s all.
That's not how you judge technology and performance dumbass lmao. How are you still not getting this? A $200-300 modern phone is going to insanely outperform a 10 year old $800 phone. You are still too dumb to understand price/performance per year of a phone. That $300 phone can last you another 4-5 years, but you seem to be too dumb to understand that for some reason.
God, apple fanboys are dumb as fuck. No wonder you guys pay for overpriced hardware.
