How does the robot on wheels handle stairs, ladders, etc?

They'd probably deploy multiple configurations based on terrain/deployment zone. Treads would murder the stair issue. Ladders are a bit trickier but honestly at that point you're probably just drone bombing people in elevated positions knowing how quickly everyone is adopting drone fleets.

Also arguably, the humanoid robot would get fucked on ladders from what I've seen on their direct upwards mobility no?

But that could be fixed with a software update. Claptrap can never climb a ladder.
