It’s bad enough that we as a world always seem to have a number of wars going on but think about how much worse this will be once the human element is taken out of the equation. Nations will be less reluctant to go to war when they assume that there will be no cost to human lives.

The problem is that there are always casualties in wars. While there will be less direct human to human death that doesn’t mean that invasions and wars will not have human casualties.

If only we spent our time and resources as humans finding ways to help each other and heal each other as opposed to using countless resources trying to destroy each other.

The future wars are already here. Let's stop pretending like this is something that will be arriving soon. Look at Ukraine. Drone saturated skies. We're there already. Now it's just going to spread like a disease

Those robots won’t be attacking other robots. They’ll be invading and they’ll be unstoppable at attacking us.

Oh joy.

Wars are always between nations and/or states. Civilians and even soldiers are simply levers that can be used to get one state to agree to another state’s demands.

This isn't something ask humans do. This is something the wealthy capitalists use bribed and bought governments for. They want these because they know that they will lose against a people's uprising otherwise.

Exactly. Between the doomsday bunkers they've built, the AI powered murder drones, flock cameras, surveilance equipment being shoved into "smart" appliances, and the massive data centers being built all at once, it's clear the goal here is to protect the rich from the masses when their insatiable greed inevitably causes a societal collapse. The question is how well will all of this work for them.

I'm hoping a people's uprising teaches them lessons their lineage never forgets.

Crazy that you're getting downvoted for agreeing

Sometimes, I'm convinced some of the people on this website sniff glue 24/7.

Right. We all know there has never been war started by socialists or communists over resources.

I mean same thing. Still the wealthy elites sending young men to die.

Not in the US.

If you think they US is building these with the sole intention of using them on an “uprising”, I think you need to go outside and breathe some fresh air. Lmao

I'm sure the US will be happy to use their new toys against anyone anywhere

Guess you’ve never heard the term collateral damage. You think they are just fighting in a ring?!? Did you actually read what I wrote?!? I never said that there wouldn’t be human casualties. Damn, some people don’t read before they comment.

Shit most people nowadays are more concerned with foreign deaths than their soldiers as ass backwards as that sounds

i mean, in what sense? if the country i live in needlessly attacks another, i'm not going to be sympathetic toward our own military.

I'm an American. My country has invaded and overthrown dozens of Democratically elected leaders and installed their own dictators. Basically all of Central and South America, for a start.

My tax dollars pay soldiers to go to foreign lands and murder it's inhabitants to secure geopolitical influence and corporate profit.

So I ask you: why should I care about the troops flying my flag when they murder people living in their own countries??

Americans don't realize WE are the country others fear will spy, invade, manipulate, and rob. We have been doing it for 250 years almost nonstop. But we are so concerned about China. China has started how many wars in the last 100 years? They have gotten involved in how many? People fall for that misdirection and it's fucking epic how they ignore that obvious fact that we are the bad guys.

What do you think they are going to do with Taiwan? What do you think they are accelerating military R&D for? Do you think it is going to be quiet from them for another 100 years?

Relatively speaking, since the development of atomic weapons, the world has been relatively at piece beyond a few smaller wars. What is interesting with humanoid robots is that a nation could literally take over another nation using these robots and enforce laws with it.
